Refund and Return Policy

At HouseManager Pvt Ltd ("HouseManager", "we", "our", "us"), we strive to provide reliable property management software services to our customers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds or cancellations may be granted.

By subscribing to HouseManager's services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Subscription-Based Services

HouseManager provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions on a subscription basis.

Subscription fees are charged in advance and grant access to the software for the selected billing cycle (monthly or annually).

2. General Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Payments: All subscription fees are generally nonrefundable, including partial months of service, unused features, or downgrade requests.

Exception – Double Charges/Technical Errors: Refunds may be granted in cases of:

  • Duplicate billing or accidental overcharging.
  • System errors where services were not delivered after payment.
  • Service Unavailability: In the rare event of extended service outages directly caused by us (lasting more than 72 consecutive hours), customers may request a credit or partial refund, subject to management approval.

3. Cancellation Policy

Customer Initiated Cancellations:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support.
  • Access to the software will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • No prorated or partial refunds will be issued for early cancellation.

Company Initiated Cancellations:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Terms & Conditions or misuse the platform.
  • In such cases, no refunds will be issued unless otherwise required by law.

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund (in eligible cases):

  1. Contact our support team at support@housemanager.lk within 7 days of the transaction.
  2. Provide transaction details (payment receipt, reference number, subscription plan).
  3. Refund requests will be reviewed within 10 business days.
  4. Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

5. Trial Periods & Promotional Offers

If a trial period is offered, customers must cancel before the trial ends to avoid automatic billing.

Payments made under promotional or discounted offers are nonrefundable.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes

Customers are encouraged to first contact our support team to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback with their bank.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in suspension of access to HouseManager's Services.

7. Governing Law

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, including applicable consumer protection regulations. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
